FIBA Equipment & Venue Centre Approval Programmes

Only manufacturers are given an opportunity to submit their products for approval. Their products should be tested by a recognized and qualified testing institute (accepted by the FIBA Equipment & Venue Centre) according to at least the minimum standards established by FIBA.

If the test results are positive, the manufacturer may be awarded a FIBA Study Centre Certificate.

  • The FIBA Equipment & Venue Centre receives the appropriate Test results as issued by the Test Institute.
  • The FIBA Equipment & Venue Centre reserves the right to send a representative to visit the manufacturing plant.
  • The FIBA Equipment & Venue Centre sends two (2) original Agreements to be checked. The Manufacturer returns the two (2) signed copies to the FIBA Equipment & Venue Centre and settles the license fee.
  • Upon receipt of payment, FIBA returns a copy of the original agreement and the manufacturer will be awarded a FIBA Equipment & Venue Centre Certificate stating that its products comply with the latest FIBA rules.
