    FIBA EuroBasket 2017 schedule confirmed

    MUNICH, Germany (FIBA EuroBasket 2017) – In anticipation of Europe’s premier basketball event, FIBA EuroBasket 2017, FIBA has announced the finalized schedule for the Group Phase and Final Phase

    MUNICH, Germany (FIBA EuroBasket 2017) – In anticipation of Europe’s premier basketball event, FIBA EuroBasket 2017, FIBA has announced the finalized schedule for the Group Phase, as well as for the Final Phase. 

    The final schedule was confirmed after taking into consideration the preferred tip-off times of the four host nations - Finland, Israel, Romania and Turkey - and FIBA’s broadcast partners. 

    FIBA EuroBasket 2017 action will tip-off when Slovenia take on Poland at 13:45 local time (12:45 CET) on August 31 in Group A action in Helsinki Arena, Finland. Group B in Tel Aviv Arena, Israel, will also begin on August 31, whilst Group C, in Polyvalent Hall, Cluj-Napoca, Romania and Group D in Fenerbahce Arena, Istanbul, Turkey, will begin one day later. 

    The Group Phase concludes on September 7, with the top four teams from each group advancing to Istanbul, Turkey to contest the Final Phase in Sinan Erdem Arena, tipping off with the Round of 16 on September 9. The competition concludes with the Final at 21:30 local time (20:30 CET) on Sunday, September 17.
