  • International Referee since 1947: Called in the 1948 London Olympic Games (including the Final between the U.S.A. and France), in the 1950 Buenos Aires World Championship (including the Final between Argentina and the U.S.A.) and in the 1952 Helsinki Olympic Games (including the Final between the U.S.A. and the USSR)
  • International referee: Called in the 1950 Buenos Aires World Championship and in the 1954 Rio de Janeiro World Championship, where he referred the Final between the U.S.A. and Brazil
  • Assistant Secretary/Treasurer of the Egyptian Basketball Federation: 1955
  • Vice President of the Egyptian Basketball Federation: 1971
  • President of the Egyptian Basketball Federation: 1972-1985
  • President of the Egyptian Olympic Committee: 1978-1984
  • Secretary General of AFABA (current FIBA Africa): 1965-1997
